Banned for a Unfair amount of time for 2 words. Is it possible for me to get the account...

It's been awhile since my account got banned for indefinite, Over 7 years of data lost. Cant even play offline with any of my games, I Feel i have been banned for an unfair amount of time ( Indefinite ), The Reason I got banned was because during a message conversation with a friend on chats we were talking and I typed the word '' **** '' and '' **** '' and he thought it would be funny to report me. Obviously I was telling him not to because of previous suspensions in the past and didn't want to get banned, but nonetheless i got banned and for a unfair amount of time., My appeal was also denied but I am honestly not very happy that i got that amount of time. I understand that the words i used may not have been appropriate but a INDEFINITE Ban? for those words? not fair.

They do take into account all of your accounts previous suspensions that your account has ever had when determining the punishment for future bans.

so if you have gotten suspended in the past other times then they would see that as you not learning your lesson and eventually slap a permanent ban down if it continued.

That being said if they denied your appeal then theres nothing else that can be done.

I am sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. I know how frustrating that must be and I would feel the same way if I were on your situation. Please be advised that Xbox Enforcement actions or suspensions are being handled only by the Xbox Enforcement Team who work offline. Here in community and even Microsoft Support won't be able to assist us regarding Xbox suspensions. As much as we would love to help, we can only do so much about it.

I hate to be a bearer of bad news here but if your appeal was denied, I am afraid we can no longer do much about it.

Thank you for your response. I have not been provided with a reason for the ban unfortunately. I feel that it is completely unfair to ban me for 2 months and not allow me to play any online games without giving me a reason for the ban. Is there no way to expedite this matter or to raise a possible system error that will not take as long?

Secondly, should the second ban relate to the first, is there a possibility that I was given 7 strikes as well as a 2 month ban for 1 message?

Unfortunately the U.S. Constitution covers only what the U.S. Government can and cannot do. The First Amendment - Freedom of Speech - specifically says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Your argument does not apply on Live as Microsoft is a private company which can enforce it's own usage rules for the services the company offer. Those rules, which all users agree to when they sign up, can be found here:

A owner can remove you dispite the first amendment.

Part of the 1st amendment is you may not infringe on the rights of others peace of mind

And yes private authority has been enforced by the Supreme court of america that's why workplaces and the common person can kick your out of their house even a bar for cursiing
