Banned by other players

This morning i recieved an xbox message from someone saying that i should have fun being banned. I ended up being banned for two days. So obviously that person knew aout the ban. In the past this same person has told me that they will ban me or "boot me
offline" what should i do??

I would report the banning stuff to xbox abd explain what happened. But the booting offline thing is a crime. You can see how to report it here at

Only Microsoft enforcers can banned players. The player could not have banned you, he could have reported you wich may have resulted in a ban. you can look what you got banned for here http://enforcement.xbox.com/

Make sure to report them on your Xbox as well as block them. Fighting fire with fire will only get you in trouble as well and some people even try to bait such things to report you.

When someone says that they are "booting you offline" there's really no harm to you or your network at all! What happens is that the person sending over the packets is gonna overload your router with data on the RAM that cause you to "lose internet connection"
but when really. Your router is too busy processing the packets the booter sent over! When they also say that there gonna "fry your router" its not possible because remoting into a BIOS is not a thing yet with modern day motherboards! That person would have
to actually have to pull up to your house and boot into the BIOS of your router and change the CPU's voltage to actually fry it. There's no such things as remote access to a BIOS to fry a router!
