    Banned but I am not responsible


    The account being banned is . I just tried getting on to watch something on Netflix when I received a message saying my privileges were going to be restricted. I wasn't sure what that meant and when I looked it up it says I got banned for harassing
    other players through messaging or whatever. I was confused since the only people I have through messages are my close friends. I go to check my messages and at least 3 random individuals were sent an explicit message and other offensive types of language.
    I live in a college dorm and tend to leave my door open from class to class for ease of access. I though back and remembered that a few days ago I had to leave for a meeting and left my xbox live account open. Now I have to deal with all this crap for something
    I did not do, I rarely even use a headset to feed to other online trolls. I tried doing the questionnare so I could file an appeal but some of the questions are worded weird so now I have to wait 24 hours to try again. I really need help since I am being punished
    for something I did not do. please help!

    Guze this is no different then an athlete being suspended for illegal substances. They are responsible for what goes into their body, despite what their trainers give them they must be aware of the substance. You are responsible for your account, and what
    happens with your account. You were unfortunately an associate to the infraction. Sorry to hear about your loss of your account. But whatever happens was so bad that it was banned. Not suspended... but banned. Just be more responsible with your profile.

    Keep in mind that you are responsible for your account at all times so you may either want to keep your door locked or put a passkey onto your account so that every time your account tries to sign in on that console it will ask for a passkey.

    The enforcement team does not follow these forums and the only way to contact them is through the case review process.

    If you failed the questionnaire then you will have to wait the 24 hours

    Similar thing happened to me. I was playing dead island, ran a few errands, came back and console ban. I am awaiting a response from PET, but I never received an e-mail stating why I am banned.

    No, i am not enforcement,and you will get no response from from anyone that is.

    You are given the reason for your ban in the email you receive at the time,you don`t need a phone number as bans have no appeal process.
