ban for reporting a toxic player!

Hello, I would like to know the real reason of my ban chat after reporting a player who took advantage of lag switch to win online games on a game while the code of conduct specifies that this is punishable I send a message to the person and this one confirms the lags so this was clearly voluntary on his part!
But the punishment was made on me while I was victim of his lag switch ....

Thank you for giving me a minimum of explanation to this please.

When reporting a user it is best not to message them, If they are using a lag switch just block and report and to try get a enforcement appeal follow the link provided by a fellow ambassador

Enforcement Website for more information. If you feel that this suspension is not a valid one then you can also submit a Case Review to have this looked over by the enforcement team.

If you responded to a toxic person and broke the terms of service then unfortunately a ban is what happens, in the future don't engage with toxic players, just mute and block them, and if they are being extremely toxic don't forget to report them, just
never respond.

a ban won't make your external HDD unusable, there must be another reason for that. As for the communication ban, if you use inappropriate language and get reported, you can get banned. When you meet a toxic player, just report and block him, no need to
insult.
