    Ban Error


    About 2 weeks ago I was communication and multiplayer banned until the 24th of October, at 6pm. It is now the 26th of October, at 2:14 PM, and I can still not communicate with people. I can play multiplayer games, but that's about it.

    Disputing charges?

    Thanks.. Just wanted to know. Some other service I use I have read they could ban your account if you dispute a charge or something through your CC company instead of talking with them

    Hey there,

    The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a
    Case Review. Some enforcement actions including, but not limited to 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable. You can find more information
    in these cases through the communication sent by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the
    Code of Conduct or
    Microsoft Services Agreement has happened.

    Have you seen any more information in regards to this suspension in your email inbox associated with your Microsoft Account? Please be sure to check your spam folders as sometimes the communication can be sent there inadvertently.
    It's possible the suspension on your account is not listed on the enforcement website, but was communicated to you via email instead. Our chat teams can also take a closer look and let you know if you have any current enforcement actions.

    I didn't receive an email, and I cannot request a case review because the suspension has already been "lifted" even though I cannot access communication in party chat, messages, or game chat.

    First check the enforcement site to verify that all suspensions are really over: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US

    If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

    1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
    2. Give your Xbox a power cycle.
    3. Add your account back into the Xbox.
    4. Attempt to use the social features now.
