    Hello!

    I had $180 in balance that expired yesterday. I didn't realize and I thought the balance would expire tomorrow and didn't spend it. I can spend it all immediately-- is there any way I can have it very slightly extended?

    Hi Guys

    It would appear my account has been blocked for non-payment. The credit card on my account had expired, and now I can't re-activate my gold status by adding a new card to my account to pay the outstanding balance, because there is an outstanding balance

    I also spent an hour on the phone to XBL support yesterday, who say they have removed the block, but couldn't process a payment/add a card. 12 hours later and the account is still stuck.

    Any thoughts?!?

    You can try contacting support and speak to billing to see if there is anything they can do, but generally once funds have expired there is no way to get them back. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, I understand that the Terms and Conditions state how long the code is valid for and if the balance had expired a month ago I would understand but as it's just two days it seems a bit harsh to not extend the lifetime of the balance. Also, it isn't particularly
    easy to find when your balance is actually due to expire.

    It would have been added as part of your Microsoft account balance. So if it's not in your balance now, check your transactions after that deposit to see if it shows it was used on a purchase or if it expired (funds from the Rewards program expire after 90 days).
