    Bad Stutter and Ping on Newest Xbox One


    A few days ago, I purchased a second Xbox One. The 500 g $190 white one on sale. When I use the new one to play Overwatch, I get horrific skipping of the other players. The environment and my actions remain smooth. If ping is under 50, then no problems.
    Anything above and the stutter gets progressively worse. Ping occasionally hits 450+.

    None of this is happening when I play on my older Xbox, which is connected to the same network in the same house. I live in the city and have excellent connectivity. The ping gets so bad that the game is practically unplayable, especially in any competitive
    sense. I have only had one session where my ping didn't ruin the gameplay and was able to play three games. Otherwise, the stutter gets so bad I have to quit.

    Check out Xbox Latency Test thread rather than starting a new one.

    BTW: The ping (159ms) is really bad - but that's an issue with X1/MS Servers as we all appear to have a really bad ping.

    Speeds are way down

    Could you try and check Speedtest.net and pingtest.net and select a server near Seattle,WA to see what your ping is?

    It's best to check this on pc for the most accurate outcome, a high ping causes stuttering while streaming and could be the cause of the issues.
