Bad performance while in game

    Bad performance while in game


    I'm having a bad issue with the gamebar freezing and not responding when I Win + G. Sometimes I can't close it until 5 seconds later and also it won't allow my game to function correctly until I Win + G into the game and press it again to try to exit it and that's on multiple games.

    hello, I tried that and it didn't help. i also tried using only one monitor and that didn't seem to fix it either.

    Try using the game mode

    When you use Game Mode, Windows prioritizes your gaming experience by turning things off in the background. When you’re running a game, Game Mode:

    Prevents Windows Update from performing driver installations and sending restart notifications

    Helps achieve a more stable frame rate depending on the specific game and system

    To turn Game Mode on or off:

    Press the Start button , type Settings in the search box, and then select Settings.

    Choose Gaming > Game Mode.

    Turn Game Mode On or Off.

    Would you please tell me if your console is connected through a wired or wireless internet connection? If wireless, is it a 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz connection?

    Also, please share a connection speed test result of your console. Just go to Settings > Network settings > Advanced settings > Test network speed.
