    Bad latency when I do the internet detailed check


    I am connected wired to the xbox from my router and I am getting 85ms for some reason + my xbox feels laggy. I am also connected wired on my PC but there it all seems just fine. I have no idea why this is I have 65+mbps internet and I live in the UK/Wales.
    If somebody could help me improve my latency please do so. I would be very thankful.

    Sat internet has high ping so your latency will be pretty bad for the most part I used to have sat internet, and let me tell it can get pretty bad.

    62ms is pretty good for a home internet connection. Is this latency causing you other issues? Can you detail out what you're actually troubleshooting outside of the latency?

    Xbox One keeps disconnecting from Xbox Live with everything I use. Netflix, Online Multiplayer, YouTube, and etc.

    Please try to check your latency as well as your packet loss by going to Settings>Network>Detailed Network Statistics. It would be a problem if your latency will go over 100ms. If so, please do contact your ISP if there is a latency issue in your area.

    I tasted my speed just by serching on goggle, check internet speed, Did that on 2 website. The download speed could be a reflection on my latency dont it? When i played a year ago i got slower internet speed in my house but my xbox got the all the amount
    so i had better latency

    this again, i am yet to see any issues in either game, you sure its not your internet that has extremely bad latency.
