Bad internet connection as soon as xbox one is switched on

Hello,

as soon as my Xbox One is on, I have problems with the internet. In the meantime, I have already tried everything but unfortunately have not found a solution.

I had connected the Xbox with a lan cable, but now I have removed the cable disabled the wifi connection to the console and have also switched the console to offline, but as soon as the console is on, my internet breaks down.

When the Xbox is off, I receive around 200 Mbps as soon as I switch it back on again, only around 15 Mbps, and it doesn't matter whether I run the speed test via wifi or lan.

I use a Fritzbox 6490 with cable internet.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Hello Mark, by your description may be something, with the internal network distributor, your mode / router / switch, already tried to restart it or check if there is any firmware update for the equipment, many devices have no guarantee of passing band and load balancing so it may be taking the entire channel when connecting.

I don't know if it's possible but it's ideal to request some technical visit from your Internet service provider.

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

Also port forwarding is always a good idea!

I have found the problem.

Recently, I replaced the power supply unit with a non-original one because it was broken.

My power supply is right next to many other cables, including the cable for the internet, and I think it is causing interference.

As soon as I put the power supply somewhere else, the problem is solved.
