Bad HDD?

    How do I know if the HDD is bad? I have a 320GB HDD that will not play games. The game works just fine with another 250GB HDD. How can I fix my HDD?

    its possible pay 700 euro of xbox gold and game pass for each year and cant connect my profile..every day there is a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (SPOILERS)

    I agree. Those side missions are clever but rubbish - they're more like strategy games. The 'remote control' spiders annoying. The levels where you have to 'race' around are too. I could go on. I felt like I was playing Quake: ground war, Ghost Recon or
    Splinter Cell at times (good games in their own right) but I want to play COD: FPS! I agree, OP....Treyarch need to stick to what they're good at!

    Saying that...MP is still good (more of the same really) and zombies is excellent with a bunch of mates.

    If it's not "playing games" then I'd say it's a safe bet that it's defective. There is nothing you can do. A formatting may be a temporary solution but whatever damaged sectors caused it to mess up in the first place will reassert themselves more dramatically
    than before.

    If none of the steps above resolve the issue then yeah either the HDD has gone bad or the hdd connection inside the system has gone bad

    That is a problem of HDD. I would suggest to get an extern hdd. That's mean the internal HDD only will work with the SO. The HDD could have bad sectores.

    I had a very similar issue with my old HDD, although not as bad. It would take 2-3 minutes to load. I bought a new HDD and moved everything over, and the game was back to how it was originally before my HDD went bad.
