    Backwards Compatible, Platinum Hits 360 Disks Won't Play on Xbox One


    I cannot get platinum edition 360 disks to play on my Xbox one. In particular, Black Ops 2 and GTA IV. These games are backwards compatible, and the 360 versions are sold in the Xbox store if I'm not mistaken. Why is this not working? Anything I can do to fix this? Thank you!

    360/X1 Compatibility

    All these games were the platinum hits series that MS made backwards compatable from the 360 to the Xbox.

    Not a single person on this thread should be arguing with me.

    Who here doesn't want backwards compatibility?

    Who here doesn't want to play against players on 360 and the one together?

    Who here doesn't want to see the X1 pushed to its limits with games developed for it like FM5?

    Would I be able to okay games I bought on xbox live (games on demand) in the new xbox one like they are linked to my account so, when I get the xbox one I can sign in on my account and download the games I bought

    You won't be able to play any Xbox 360 games on the X1, whether they're disk or games on demand. The X1 isn't backwards compatible.

    It's possible that it isn't backwards compatible as it's the Platinum Hits version & not the original.

    The disks will say if they are for xbox one or the 360. Check the disk, then the backwards compatibility list.

    My Xbox one won't play my 360 Lego pirates of the Caribbean even though that is on the list of backwards compatible games. Why doesn't it work?what can I do?
    Clean your disk and make sure there are no scratches on the disk itself
