backwards compatibility purchase error ?

hey so i was gonna purchase halo reach on my xb1, and it says i have no valid payment options on file. i've been looking for a solution online and it's just people who dont have a credit card connected to their microsoft account. i have both a credit card
and a paypal account with sufficient funds tied to my microsoft account so ??? i really dont know whats wrong. pls help

Buy a xbox 260 game

If the game is backwards compatible and you still get the error, you'll need to make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on file to make the purchase. If you're on a child account, you will have to make the purchase on a 360 console.

Also error 80151904 what's happening to your backwards compatibility can't we just play it without our gamer tags because it's the one causing the error c'mon just do it for backwards compatibility pls

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps? I figured out why this error was occurring.

This error occurs if your Xbox Live subscription has expired and try to purchase a backwards compatible game. It would ba appreciated if you put a proper error message up there for customers in this situation - "Sorry, you must have an Xbox Live subscription
to purchase backwards compatible games" Or something....

that error may be due to the game not being backward compatible with xbox one and that's why it won't let you make the purchase
