Backwards Compatibility Party Chat and Game Invites

Discus and support Backwards Compatibility Party Chat and Game Invites in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I can't even bring up the Xbox 360 Menu to be able to invite people to the games I'm trying to play.     Backwards Compatibility Party Chat and Game Invites


    I can't even bring up the Xbox 360 Menu to be able to invite people to the games I'm trying to play. All of the games downloaded fine just can't figure out what to do now. Help?

    Party chats, and game invites are... Awful. : xboxone

    I agree pretty much with this. The 360s party, chat and game invite process was fine. It's seamless integration of friends was one of the reasons I went for the One. Backwards step in my opinion.

    The new interface

    All we need now is option for XBOX1 members to invite 360 members to party chat. Since you factor in backward compatibility is around the corner for everyone this November.

    Xbox 360 and Xbox One

    I believe you can only do this via backwards compatible games. If you're on the Xbox One and playing a backwards compatible game, press the two buttons on either side of the Guide button, that will bring up the Xbox 360 guide. From that guide you'll be
    able to invite Xbox 360 players to a party chat, and also to join your game.

    As Gears 3 is backwards compatible all your friend needs to do is load up the game and invite you to play co-op. If you want to chat while playing he'll need to use the 360 emulator to start a party chat with you .
