Backwards Compatibility (MK9)

I know there used to be a site for suggesting games but recently I am pretty sure its gone. But Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) is probably the best game in the franchise and its definetely my favorite game of the series. It was the reboot that started the current storyline. We need this game!!! Its a crying shame xbox is not more open to this stuff as they used to. As soon as they got comfortable with their “for the fans” status they seemed to dial it back.

There has been a huge surge in MK9 backwards Compatible post lately. It would be awesome though, but it is up to the devs of mk9 to bring it BC not Microsoft

They have already annouced they will not be making anymore games backwards compatable however mk9 should be

MK9 is not backwards compatible. (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility?xr=shellnav) There is a version of the game
for the One though. You would have to purchase that version in order to be able to play it on the One.

A couple updates, everyone:

I contacted WB Games, and asked them to make MK9 backwards compatible.

Someone replied and said that they would pass on my message to the games team.

That probably doesn't mean anything, but hey - I'm trying everything I can!

I have also created a new Twitter account with the sole purpose of Tweeting tweets asking the great Ed Boon to make MK9 backwards compatible.

That’s good to know. Now I need to give feedback to Warner bros or nether realm and see if we can get it to Xbox one or series x
