backwards compatibility enhancements

I still say there is a chance for the game to become backwards compatible, simply stated because there are games that were already present on the Xbox One but were released as backwards compatible titles. Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
both have had this treatment..

In terms of Remastered or "Enhanced" games and backwards compatibility, Darksiders I and II along with Castle Crashers have enhanced Xbox One versions but still made their way to backwards compatibility. So there's always a chance.

The more games the better, in my opinion. It seems like time and licensing are the two biggest hurdles for the backwards compatibility team.

As long as those games are backward compatible this will not be an issue. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility And they even enhanced the graphics on fallout 3 for the Xbox one X.

1. Yes. Since the game is backwards compatible it'll work on a Series X.

2. Not all backwards compatible games have an enhanced update, but the Red Dead Redemption does.

This will certainly be a great idea for these Tenchu games to have a Xbox One X enhanced backwards compatibility.
