    Backwards Compatibility disconnected only for Black Ops 2


    Weird issue I have been getting for a while now. I have an issue where if I play my backwards compatible Black Ops 2 disc on my original Xbox one, I get disconnected from Xbox live within 5-20 minutes and if I reconnect it will only stay connected again for around 5-20 minutes. This is only something that happens when I play Black Ops 2 as all of my other backwards compatible games including Black Ops 1 work fine. I have deleted and redownloaded my profile, deleted my system cache and local 360 cache. I know it's not a connection or network issue because everything else on Xbox including other Backwards compatible games stay connected the entire time I play. I have hard restarted my Xbox many times and nothing has seemed to work. I have tried looking around for answers but have found nothing of use. Would really appreciate some help with this because I've been waiting to play this game again for a while.

    Black Ops 2 is currently not backwards compatible. So you would only be able to play it on the 360.

    I have reset my console to factory defaults and tried to play the game again but within 20 minutes I continued to get disconnected from Xbox Live again on the 360 emulator.

    Don't worry we will work on this together. Let's try to troubleshoot.

    Don't worry we will fix this together. Please make sure you can sign in all your profiles. Let's try to restore the console back to factory defaults but we will select keep my games and apps so it won't remove your games and progress.

    Please follow the steps here:

    - Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    - Select Settings

    - Select System

    - Select Console info & updates

    - Select Reset console

    - Select Keep Games and Apps

    After this, you will have to sign in again with your email and password. Then please try it again. Thanks!

    They won't do it, also because Black Ops 2 is backwards compatible.
