Backwards Compatibility Code with Dark Souls III Pre-Order Purcheses

The deluxe package description said:

For a limited time, purchase a digital pre-order of DARK SOULS™ III on the Xbox One Store and get the original Dark Souls playable on Xbox One

NOT

For a limited time, purchase a digital pre-order of DARK SOULS™ III on the Xbox One Store and get the original Dark Souls playable on Xbox One When backwards compatibility becomes available

Sounds like false advertising to me

I pre ordered dark souls 3 on February 17th. I am aware that pre ordering this game digitally came with a code for the dark souls backwards compatible game. It has been thirteen days and still no code.

Also isn't that faulty advertisement? The exact wording is, "For a limited time, purchase a digital pre-order of the DARK SOULS III Deluxe Edition on the Xbox One Store and get Dark Souls playable on Xbox One. The Code for Dark Souls will be delivered to
your Xbox message center in 7-10 days." I mean that would suggest 7-10 days after I pre-order not 7-10 days after the game becomes backwards compatible? Sadness in my heart...

Have you tried creating a post in the Promotions and Special Offers thread? (found here:

forums.xbox.com/.../4272.aspx ) Someone will be able to better assist you there! Also, Dark Souls is still not backwards compatible, so when you do receive your code (most likely before the game has been added to the BC list) you will not be able to play
it immediately on your Xbox One.

Dark Souls codes will go out 7-10 days after pre-ordering Dark Souls III. If you do not get your codes after waiting 10 days after your Dark Souls III pre-order, please go ahead and post a new thread.
