    Backwards Compatibility Chances?


    I am of course so excited about the new Doom game coming out in a very short time. It'll be quite an amazing experience. I have played all 3 previous games and enjoyed them all.

    I can't yet play Doom or Doom II on my Xbox One because they're on the same disc as my copy as Doom 3 BFG Edition, and I'm not gonna buy the other 2 games twice just to play them. So I'm waiting for Doom 3 as a whole to become backwards compatible. What
    are the odds of that happening?

    Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

    They stopped adding backwards compatible game in 2007 and all support for original games ended in 2010. If it isn't backwards compatible, there's really no chance it will be.
