Backwards Compat. Game saves. Cant move? Why?

Okay guys, so basically I've been playing Morrowind (basic edition) for a while now. Just today I got the GOTY (game of the Year) edition to the game, BUT my saves from the original game are not loading. To clarify Ive played BOTH on the 360, and even on
the back of the GOTY case it says I can play using the same save. (See Image below). What it comes down to then is im guessing its an issue with the 360's backwards compat. emulator. Because I CANNOT move or copy my save files. It only gives me the options
to Delete... Someone help? Thanks.

its already a month and 2 days ago when the first couple of games with backward compat came out.. when are the halo reach and others coming to backward compat?

It might very well have something to do with the emulator. Because the original Xbox console had it's own internal memory it was easy to locate the proper save. However, since the 360 is a different console entirely it may have trouble locating and using
the save properly.

I would recommend checking all storage devices you may have attached to ensure you're choosing the correct one just in case.

 

Same profile? Then it should work some just recognize the previous gamesave
