Backward compatible 360 disc wont read in my one.

None of my backwards compatible 360 disc dont wan to read most of the time, they have little to no scratches on them and my Xbone games read right away so I know its not the disc drive.

backwards compatibility of xbox 360 games on xbox one on disc

I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

Please try the following:

Solution 1: Clear Cache

Solution 2: Reinstall Games

Solution 3: Check Backwards Compatibility

Solution 4: Request a Service

Solution 1: Clear Cache

Clear the system cache of your Xbox One by power cycling the device. Hold the power button on the front of the console for at least ten seconds until it is completely powered down. Remove the power cord from the back of the console and hold the power button
for another ten seconds. Reinsert the power cord and turn the console back on. Reinsert a compatible Xbox 360 game disc and attempt to play it.

Solution 2: Reinstall Games

If you've previously been able to play a game and it isn't working now, the game files may have become corrupted. Navigate to the game management menu by highlighting the game in My Games and Apps, pressing the menu button (what was the Start button on the
Xbox 360 controller) and selecting "Manage Game". From here, select the option to "Uninstall all". Now reinsert the disc for that game and wait for it to download, then try playing it.

Solution 3: Check Backwards Compatibility

Not all Xbox 360 games can be played on the Xbox One. Right now, over 250 games are playable. Check to see if the titles you are trying to play is available to play on the Xbox One here: Xbox One Backward Compatibility | Xbox.

Solution 4: Request a Service

If all of the above haven't worked, your console may be faulty and you might have to request a service. To request a service, follow the instructions here: https://devicesupport.microsoft.com.

Well no one knows when the 360 servers will be shut down but with the recent announcement of backwards compatibility on the xbox one it wont be anytime soon as they will need the 360 servers to run backwards compatible games.

It must not be because it wont play the discs and I just bought more than a couple old games

Its possible you dont have an official xbox 360 Hard drive as well. You must have an official one in order for the backwards compatibility to work on the 360. If its 3rd party then backwards compatibility wont work.

Blacks ops lll wont be on backwards compatibility as it was released on Xbox One.

If games have been released on 360 and on the One it wont be backward compatible.
