Backward compatibility physical disc games (Xbox one/series x)

That game is not available for purchase digitally so it would just depend on how much you can find it for on physical disc. It's not backwards compatible though so it wouldn't work on a Series X.

Yes, Xbox One game discs should work on the Xbox Series X consoles, as they are backwards compatible. So if you buy the physical copy of Hogwarts Legacy on the Xbox One, you should be able to play it on the Xbox Series X consoles, However If you don't have a Digital Copy or Disk Reader technology that reads disks and install them on you're Console it'll will not work on Series S as it's all Digital.

Gold is required to play online on the Xbox. So even if it's a free-to-play game, you still need Gold to play online.

The Series S will not have a disc drive so backwards compatible discs will not work and the games would have to be purchased digitally.

At the moment, it is not backward compatible. But it could get the Backward Compatibility treatment on Xbox Series X, so keep your physical copy and let's hope for the next gen

No, there is truly no way to make physical games turn into digital, okay? I do not know if this can be an alternative for you, but Xbox Series X can play backward compatible 360 games.
