    Backward compatibility lord of the rings conquest


    Personally i loved this game on xbox 360 and i would’ve loved to have seen it in the backward compatibility library. Is there a way to suggest or ask for microsoft to look at it for the program thanks.

    Hi,

    I hate to disappoint you, but this is unlikely to happen. The stumbling block is the publishing rights. This LOTR game was published by Electronic Arts, but the current owner of the LOTR rights is Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment who are owned by Warner
    Bros. Pictures, the same company who own the IP for the film franchise.

    Microsoft can only make games BC with permission of the publisher, since EA Games don't own it, they can't give permission.

    Lego Lord of the Rings is backward compatible. It was one of the last batch of games to be made backward compatible. As for Need For Speed Carbon, that isn't compatible, and won't be ever backward compatible either. As Smwutches stated, the backward compatible program has ended, so no more games are being added.
