    today I bought red dead redemption backward compatability for Xbox one on disc but when I insert the disc it doesn't start the installation and I am not going to waste any more money

    What's been your Xbox related highlights over the last year?

    Forza Horizon 3 release and Red Dead Redemption backwards compat have to be up there.

    Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 at E3 this year, releasing in 2017. Red Dead Redemption Remaster 2016.

    Bububu I already have Red Dead Redemption on my xbox1 with BC.

    So how again is Rockstar not allowing that?

    This is a
    known issue with the Xbox One Preview Program. It sounds like you, or someone that shares your Xbox One with you, is a member of the Preview Program and has enrolled your console. You will want to have the person who is a part of the preview program leave
    feedback via the console app (hold down the Xbox button and use the "Report a problem" box on the right) and then log into the Preview Program forums above to leave further feedback.

    1. Yes. Since the game is backwards compatible it'll work on a Series X.

    2. Not all backwards compatible games have an enhanced update, but the Red Dead Redemption does.
