    Backup gamepass saves and data


    Hi there, I've just joined gamepass and installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, as a windows insider I reinstall my system quite often to test out different Windows builds, is there a way or can it be added to to the gamepass app to backup game data and
    saves as I don't really want to download 91GB of data for Flight Simulator every time I reinstall my system?

    The way I've done it at the moment is I've made a snapshot image of my boot drive so it keeps all the gamepass data intact.

    my save data isnt synced in pc gamepass

    most gamepass pc games do not use cloud saves and you would need to manually backup and move your saves.

    Hi David, backup your save data then remove your saved data from the console. Your account/save may be corrupted.

    this is why im moving away from the xbox gamepass stuff slowly, as all the xbox games that are available on gamepass pc are now on steam, i get to access the save easier to backup then.
