Discus and support Backcompat games in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I'm not able to run an xbox 360 disc on my xbox one it's opening bluray and shows that i should put it in an xbox 360 even thought it's a backcompat...     I'm not able to run an xbox 360 disc on my xbox one it's opening bluray and shows that i should put it in an xbox 360 even thought it's a backcompat game

    Hey Ralph,

    Thank you for responding. I see you are having a hard time launching GTA 4 as it is opening up your Blu-ray app instead. Before suggesting any further troubleshooting, I'd like for you to clarify a few things for us. Are you able to launch any other backwards
    compatible games? Have you been able to play GTA 4 before? Have you tried uninstalling the Blu-ray app? We hope to hear back from you soon! :D

    Hello Ralph,

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system.

    Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.

    Just before doing it if i press reset and keep my games and apps will that keep my achivements as well as the saved data? And in terms of settings that i've chosen will it remain the same or i'll have to change it all onfe done? And one last thing will
    all the software updates that i've done for my console remain done?

    I tried other games and got the same result and no i haven't played GTA 4 before on xbox one and haven't tried to uninstall bluray should i try the disc while bluray is uninstalled? But i think a message will pop up saying i need to download bluray to
    be able to use a disc or no?
