Backawards compatible games not showing on new Xbox One

We purchased some games online on our 360. We now have a new xbox one, and the games we purchased, which are listed as backwards compatible, are not showing on the One. I have been back on to the 360 and made sure they are saved/copied to the cloud, but
when we go back to the One, there is nothing. I also can't see a way - on the One - to manually sync or pull stuff from the cloud. What are you meant to do if its not happening automatically?

    Thanks.

    :)

Question about Games with Gold X360 backwards compatibility

I understood that all Xbox 360 games offered through Games with Gold were compatible with Xbox One. I recently purchased Ace Combat: **** Horizon, but it is not showing as "ready to install" on my Xbox One. When I check the game in the store, it does not
indicate it is backwards compatible (shouldn't that be "forward compatible"?). It was only 5 bucks, but I feel like I was misled. I do have a couple of 360s to play it on, but I really only use those as media centers (since Xbox One really doesn't do that).

    Hi,

To see digital Xbox 360 games that are on the BC list on your console, you need to insure you are signed in with the same account you purchased them on the 360. Your digital Xbox 360 games will be in the 'Ready to Install' section in 'My Games and Apps.

Cloud storage for Xbox 360 is only for game saves. Digital games must be downloaded first from within My Games and Apps. When you run a backwards compatible game for the first time, you will be prompted to download your profile (like you do on an Xbox 360)
    - this will happen automatically.

As long as you have Xbox 360 saves in the cloud, you will be able to sync them, once you start the game, but not before.

Minecraft for xbox360 not in xbox one

I never had to buy it back after upgrading to w10. Like i said in a different reply. Between platforms i can understand but xbox one is nothing more then a better version of xbox 360 due to hardware upgrades. They changed the dashboard interface
but it's basicly stil using the same software. They are both based on windows media center...
Xbox One is based on the UWP which is the Win 10 Kernel. Xbox 360 is not based on the UWP. That is why backaward compatible games require an emulator in the installation. It is also why many games would not port from Win 7, and Win 8 to Win 10 cleanly.
But cross platform is possible between WP and Win 10, and Xbox One as long as HW requirements are met between the devices.

Discussion space for people who want Backwards Compatibility added to the Xbox One.

i don't care about backwards capability when the new M$ system should have had more beef invested into its hardware. They are too lazy and too cheap to care about backawards capability when they can't even make a system that's on par with PS4

    Games purchased not in libary

Having checked the backward compatibility catalogue, the games you have mentioned are not listed. That is why they are not showing in the Xbox One library. If they become compatible, then the games will show up. Until then your only option is to play the
games on the Xbox 360. For the full list of backward compatible games, have a look here

    Game with gold Games

Hi Doug! When you sign in to your new Xbox One S with the same Xbox Live account, there will be a "Ready to Install" section listing all games that you are able to install onto that Xbox. If your old games (Games with Gold or purchased) are backwards compatible,
they will show up there! Here is a list of current Backwards Compatible games https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility , and here is
the FAQ section for Backwards Compatibility as well https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility#faqSection

    Hope that helps!
