    back 4 blood wont launch from xbox game pass app at all


    hey guys does anyone know what may be causeing my game not to launch on not only my main machine but my fiancees machine it pulls up the initial anti-cheat loading window loads then just cuts out and doesnt launch. no error code of anti-cheat not launching or anything. ive double checked on drivers updates and windows updates. im am currently on windows 11 and my other machine is on windows 10 so it is not localized to os system. i have disabled my antivirus and tried launching the game with the same outcome. is this just day one release issues with the app? or is something blocking my games from launching? i currently have a intel i9-9900kf and an nividia 3070 founders with everything up to date.

    Perform a clean boot and also disable as many third-party programs as possible running on your PC. Check if your antivirus has quarantined the game file and disable it too.

    If the problem persists, try reinstalling the easy anti-cheat program.

    It's an issue that other people are having...I have seen mention that it finally launches after like 8-10 attempts. Can't find it mentioned anywhere on the various Xbox Twitter accounts so not sure how widespread the issue is

    Some games that are supposed to show up on Game Pass PC don't exist in my Xbox App.

    I just tried installing Hollow Knight since it's PC only and it launched the Hollow Knight page on my Xbox App but while on the website it says "INSTALL TO included with Game Pass" in the app it says not available. Oh and also Back 4 Blood is nowhere to be found in my Xbox app.
