Azure Kinect USB Controller Comparability

Hi, I am looking to buy a Lenovo Legion 5 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and RTX 3060. Will the Azure Kinect and it's bodytracking SDK work with this laptop? I have heard there are issues with USB host controllers.

Honestly, I don't know, the only requirement is that the motherboard has a USB3 host controller and it's good to avoid the chipset I mentioned.

Hi, I tried one in the shop and it was listed as having an AMD eXtensible 1.1 host controller, will this work?

If the motherboard has USB3 host controller you should be fine. You might have problems with this type of chipset

Compatibility issues with ASMedia USB host controllers (for example, ASM1142 chipset)

azure. to me it is the only new feature this generation.

kinect was in the past generation.

improved graphics and minor controller tweaks is every generation.

tv guide was in last generation, via wmc.

apps were in last generation.
