Avatar styles from old to new system

There has recently been an update to the avatar system. Check out this helpful support article:

Basically you still have access to all your previous avatar clothes and styles you would just have to access them through the Original Avatar Editor App.

The old avatars and avatar content is not compatible with the new avatar system. I have lots of items that I wish I could transfer to my new avatar. We do have the option to use either avatar we wish as a profile.

You're avatar from the Xbox 360 will carry over, however, you'll have to make a new avatar using the upgraded and more diversified Xbox One avatars app. The reason for having to make a new one is because its a new system with new models and new and detailed
ways to make your avatar more like... you. You can use the old one from the 360, however, the new ones are cool... and if you haven't gotten to editing the new ones in the new app you should.

Sorry you're upset. However, the items you purchased for your avatar are still available on the old avatar system. They will always be linked to your account via that one.

However, the purchased items are not rolling over to the new avatar.

If you'd like to continue using your Xbox 360 avatar, you might wish to visit the Xbox Store on your console and download an app called "Xbox Original Avatars." In that app, you'll be able to find your Xbox 360 avatar and the items you've previously purchased
for it.

There is an updated avatar system on the Xbox One, and if you wish to explore that, the app that you would want to look for is called "Xbox Avatar Editor." Just note that the clothing items and props from your 360-era avatar are not compatible with this
new avatar system and will not transfer.
