    I am a native English speaker, I am currently living in Germany and I would like to buy a game from the Xbox 360 live arcade. The problem is that the prices are in GBP but I need to pay in Euros, it seems the only way to get the store in Euros would be to change my locale to Germany; the problem is that if I do this then my console changes to German! From what I read I can only have the console and my Xbox live account in German if I set the local to Germany which is ridiculous! I have an MS 365 account that is based in Germany and I can have all my apps in English so please can someone explain to me why I cannot have my Xbox 360 and Xbox live account in English when my local is set to Germany, I mean it's the 21st Century we are living in, this should not be difficult!

    Cause of the USP controls and locks content you do know that USP still controls content right ?

    XBOX 360 content is region locked and are based kn your nationally supported languages which is German

    Very few games are

    German content is only available in germany just like riussiaan content is available in russia

    The language of majority is what ykh can get

    The webpage is only refering to the content in the general marketplace and what is available to the world if there is no ruasian version russia wont get russian for example

    But since germany is one of the supported languages thats what you get

    Because of the content of the game, Germany got a special version of the game, called German edition basically, which was in German as the only language. As far as I know that was the only version with German language available and I believe it is not
    available in the pass.

    Make sure your console language is set to german too

    Account region actual region and language must be rhe same

    En 360 content isnt available in germany

    European games on American Xbox Series X

    Germany is tricky, you should check available languages. Often times Germany gets their own version which can sometimes be isolated to German

    Otherwise Xbox game discs on the One and above are region free
