Available for Xbox Insiders: Get to the Games Faster with My Apps - Xbox Wire

The above issue occurred on a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro.

I was able to "fix" the issue by unenrolling from Xbox Insider Hub's Windows Gaming. I then uninstalled the Xbox app. I restarted my machine. I then re-enrolled back in the Windows Gaming Preview. I reinstalled the Xbox App. I still had the same error, so I unchecked the option to "Ask me for install options on every install." Game Pass Games now install as normal rather than the advanced options under C:\Xbox Games.

Identifying the issue was seeing the option "This game supports advanced management features." on the 7 games that were already installed.

In conclusion,

I believe this is some sort of Xbox Insider Hub Preview issue with the Xbox App because the 7 games were installed without the option of C:\Xbox Games that I had prior to reloading Windows 11.

We'd like to let you know that you can have freedom to choose in which location you would like your game to be installed not just to default it through Drive C. However, this is still available to Insiders. You will need to be part of Xbox Insider first before you will be able to enjoy this and to help you with that and provide you information about the freedom to choose your own location of game. I tried to re-sync the controller but no luck. It flashes faster but to no avail.

And yes, I've wired it using micro USB but it still doesn't have any effect, just the normal flashing Xbox button.

In reference to the insider program, the article entitled Get

where our Xbox Insider users will go to post issues with the Insider program.

Currently the Microsoft controller adapter is not available. I would recommend visiting a store near you for availability.
