Why did microsoft or whoever is in charge of this company release the new consoles with a stupid amount of stock and still 6 months later nothing,what is the point of it ?

Currently chips are so low that car manufacturers are slowing down production

There are only two silicone factories in the world

The constant demand for new consumer products like smatt cars options, GPS, phones consoles computers etc are causing this

Even sony has trouble and predicts it will last till 2022-24 until they can reduce the silicone used and they use a crazy amount because of the shape of the console

The 'chips' for Series X are designed and built only for the Series X, they aren't off the shelf and are therefore not affected by the bitcoin crypto-currency boom.

I am not 100% sure if this deal is still available on new consoles but if it is it will be available to select it as your subscription when making a new account on your console.
