I would suggest performing a
powercycle.

• Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 secs
• Once the console shuts off, unplug the power cord from the wall socket for 1-2 mins.

If you've tried that already, I would suggest you try a
soft factory reset. This will restore the operating system to factory defaults but will keep your content installed on the hard drive. Make sure you take the disc out before you start the reset and have your account log in information available.

If you complete that and it's still not letting you play online, then I suggest re-installing the game.

I don't believe it has to do with when you joined Xbox Live or the age of the account.

What troubleshooting steps (if any) have you tried? Also is this the only game that you've tried to play online?

And is this on the Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

All of my Xbox services are running. It shows that I'm signed in. But everytime I try to go online, it gives me that error that says that the advanced Warfare servers are unavailable. I don't know what to do. Could it be that I only joined Xbox Live last
night? Could it be that it's because this is a new account?
