    Autoupdate option on xbox and pc


    I'm really sorry to say this and I've played xbox and pc windows games for awhile and I've always had a problem with this for at least 7 years and it hasn't been fixed and It's not only me either as a few friends have had the same problem for just about as long as I have but I have the auto update option turned on for both pc and xbox and it seems to decide what games it wants and doesn't want to update or doesn't ever update them to begin with.

    I have it where both my xbox and pc aren't on power saving mode and they are set to never turn off and my games and apps still won't auto update.

    I hope you guys understand how frustrating this would be for someone to always have to constantly manually update their games and apps especially when the majority of the time the updates show up as I try to open or play something.... So I have to sit and wait when there is a option to stop this...?

    Many factors in play a role in downloading speed.

    From the xbox itself to your internet speed to too many people on the wifi at once.

    The best option is to set to autoupdate.

    Updates are very safe.. I have my XBox 360 and XBox One on autoupdate.. When it needs to update it will do it for me. I've been playing on XBox One for years never an error.

    Always online experience broken.

    Camaro...it's a thread about a buggy console that has to be turned off daily when Microsoft supposedly designed it to be on at all times. Like I said, autoupdates shut the Xbox One down. It does not reboot automatically.
