Autoscrolling issue makes many microsoft apps unusable

I began shortly after I connected a Xbox Core controller to my PC. the issue seems to be that the apps that support the controller keep on autoselecting the top option in any menu, even when the controller is off, and every time another option is selected, it reselects the initial option and scrolls to it, making using anything that scrolls impossible

Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

After researching, it looks as though this bug is triggered when a controller is disconnected as direction is being pressed. Not sure if this applies to your situation but I suggest restarting your PC and testing this out.

As for a solution, updating Windows to the latest version as well as updating your controller though the Xbox accessories app may help if you haven't already.

Agree - this xbox one app is unusable, it buffers all the time. I can run both my laptop (chrome) and my iphone on the same internet connection with no issues whatsoever, but the microsoft xbox app is so frustrating. Also why does it always ask me to login ????? I have reinstalled and reset the xbox so many times I can't believe I am paying the nba for this.

I noticed this issue as well. It was there last year and I hope they bring it back. They claim with the new NFL app that it will support NFL.com, CBS, & Yahoo. Leave it up to Microsoft and it is an unusable app. So disappointing.

Yup. I too and really bothered by this. Makes the Netflix app completely unusable for me. I understand that it's a Netflix problem, but wouldn't Microsoft be the best person to contact them to get this resolved? It makes my $500 Xbox one x unusable as
an all in one media device. And even though it's a Netflix issue, it reflects poorly on the Xbox one x.

I shouldn't have to revert to using a 4 year old $150 Nvidia shield tv as my all in one media center, but because of this issue with Netflix...that's exactly what I do. It's really annoying and this needs to get fixed.
