Automatical update not working

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem, other than the "Keep Games & apps up to date" box being checked, are you using an external hard drive on the console? If you have an external hard drive you do want to make sure that the storage is not turned
off when you turn off the console.

You would have to go through your

• Settings
• Click on Power & Startup
• Select Power Mode & Startup

Once here make sure that you have your console set to instant-on, and that you have the box on the right side unchecked for "When Xbox is off, turn off storage"
