    Auto swapping headphone surround mixers?


    Would most people say that Dolby Atmos headphone app sounds best with blu-rays encoded in Dolby Atmos?

    Would most people say the dtsx headphone app sounds best with DTS encoded movies?

    And what headphone encoder would be best for lpcm movies? I assume Windows Sonic is optimized for lpcm?

    It's that's the case then maybe we should have an option besides Atmos dtsx and windows Sonic and that's called "coresponding" where if the audio isn't coded in Dolby the atmos app is used, if in DTS the DTs headphone app is used. Finally if the surround
    code is lpcm then Windows Sonic is used.

    A couple other questions would someone want Dolby Atmos headphone app for DTS movies or vice versa?

    Finally what should be done about Dolby Digital 7.1 and below, would those sound best with the Dolby Atmos app or would you need a separate Dolby Digital app? I'm not convinced that Dolby Atmos is made for pre-Atmos Dolby encoded movies

    Thanks, now I check, but I would like information, with the audio settings of the headphones on XBOX One, any non-surround headphones, even stereo become virtual surround ??
    Or do I need a certain type of headphones to have surround sound?

    Oh also once you have everything set up be sure to change your audio setting on the xbox to 5.1 surround and it might be a good idea to get 4X rechargable batteries and a charger. i aways keep a set on charge ready to be swapped over.

    Can't answer that, but listening through headphones IS NOT surround sound.

    For $300 you can get headphones and an amp that sound nearly as good as a surround system that costs 10 times as much. And there are things that you can hear on headphones that you would never hear on a surround setup. And you can use your headphones day
    or night, even with your wife/GF sleeping in the same room.
