    Auto-Renew for Gamepass Ultimate shows wrong date on App?


    On the Xbox App on PC my account shows that Gamepass Ultimate will auto-renew on the 10/07/20 (so next week).

    When I press manage, on my account on the website page, it says the auto-renew date is 30/09/20, and it also has the same date in the "Xbox Game Pass ulimate" text at the top bar. Pressing manage also shows "monthly subscription" for Game Pass renews on
    that same date.

    Why is the Xbox App showing me a completely different date?

    Upgrading Xbox live to include Game pass

    By "xbox live" do you mean xbox gold? If you are adding gamepass separately to gold then you might as well just upgrade to the gamepass ultimate. All the current months will convert to gamepass ultimate. Buying them separately will only be a hassle rather than buying them in one package in ultimate. That's also the only way to keep the auto renew date the same is if you upgrade to the ultimate gamepass.

    Your subscription is now GamePass Ultimate it cancels Gold once you upgrade, so it will be safe to turn off auto renew if you wish.

    If you currently have an Ultimate subscription, you must turn off auto renew and let it expire. Once the Ultimate expires, you can redeem your Gamepass code without it being converted.

    you could also make another account, but gold or gamepass there, and then use the homeshare feature to share to your actual account. If you do the 1 dollar for 3 months of gamepass ultimate your account should be cleared up by the time your ultimate is
    up. Just don't make the same mistake and forget to turn off the auto renew. You can easily turn off auto renew via Microsoft.com in the subscription section once you log into your account. so there really is no excuse
