AUTO-CREATION OF "XboxGames" FOLDER ON STARTUP OF MY PC

hi, so i downloaded efootball23 from microsoft store in pc few days ago to test it for the first time. my laptop didn't meet 2 of the system requirements so i uninstalled the game after a few minutes of laggy gameplay. during that time i had to create an xbox account of the same. after uninstalling i restarted my laptop and came to know that there's an ambiguous folder named "XboxGames" which keeps on recreating everytime in both of my C: & D: drives when i start up my laptop, which is a bit annoying to me for the past couple of days. i wanna get rid of this auto creation of this folder asap so i need your help at the moment. thank you.

Hi Tomm_A, actually one expert from the Xbox community already had helped me out with this one so I no longer need any suggestions from your side, but thanks for your cooperation. I just changed the default folder of installation in Xbox to some folder I currently use in the D: drive and after that the Xboxgames folder stopped auto creating itself on startup, so yeah i was pretty sure that it was a technical glitch from my side, so i no longer need any assistance from your side. Thank you!

3. Which drive did you use as default where you can install new games and apps?

Well yes i decides to format my PC and reinstall everything which i did. Today i installed and Forza Horizon 5. Well, again tha game installed at XboxGames folder instead of WindowsApps but now it does't occupy storage at both folders. Only at XboxGames. If i go to XboxGames folder i can see the game files but if i also go to WindowsApps folder i can find the game files there too but as a shortcut. But it is ok since it is not installed 2 times as before.

Hello.

So, I've already taken ownership of the WindowsApp and XboxGames folders on my drive from an earlier time of trying to troubleshoot a bug in Forza.

Edit: Today I booted my PC and two of my games suddenly reappeared. Doom is still missing from my library. Even weirder tho, the two games that are missing are not the ones I see in the XboxGames folder on my external, but in the WindowsApp folder. The XboxGames folder has the lingering Forxa files and Doom, and neither show up in my library. Also, I can once again select the default drive to something else. For now I have set my default drive to the external. I'm still not sure if the WindowsApp folder resolved itself or if the root cause of the issue still exists in both folders, or the Xbox App itself.
