    Authorisation denied for buying a game


    On the 31/12 and the 01/1 y tried to buy a game and my credit card and paypal was not authorised. Today I called the support service and they told me my credit card and associated paypal account had being blocked by microsoft for security reasons due to
    software maintenance and that I needed to input a different credit card because they could not activate it again. This is not a problem but today, the 2/01, when I tried to buy again the same game, I found out the price has gone up from 3,74 euros to 14,99!
    At this price I don't intend to buy it and I wonder if the price can be mantained because this was not my fault but microsoft. I would appreciate your repply at my email adress,

    Credit Card issues

    For the past week my Visa keeps being denied when I try purchasing Microsoft Points. Called my bank and theres nothing wrong with my card, it should go through just fine, so I called Xbox live and they cant figure out why its being denied either. Never had
    a problem buying points or DLC's before with this card so why now all of a sudden am I being denied??? Anybody else having this problem???

    LA Noire £25 At Tesco's but..

    Tesco do not regard Xbox live or microsoft points as a game even if they are listed in the top 20 game chart. I have tried buying these as part of the deal before, and have always been denied.

    Microsoft is not responsible for credit accounts being blocked. The sale is over. If you want the game you'll have to pay full price.

    You can buy them at an authorised retailer like Argos or currys

    CD Keys aren't an authorised seller so buying from them does come with a risk of being banned

    exactly...I bought 1000MS points and everything was fine and after 20 seconds, trying to buy 500MS points got that error, cannot authorise the selected payment option.
