authentication failed

Discus and support authentication failed in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; ok, since the last little update from ms i am not able to log into wot? i have tried everything, i just spent the last hour on the phone with a ms...     ok, since the last little update from ms i am not able to log into wot? i have tried everything, i just spent the last hour on the phone with a ms operator. ive done pretty much everything from 1. clearing cache 2. defragging game 3. uninstalling game -
    reinstalling game 4. uninstalling gamer profile reinstalling profile 5. went online checked all my ms info and wot info everything is on the same page and up to date 6.uninstalled updates and re-installed them???? dont know what else to do? does anyone out
    there have any other ideas or solutions? oh and yes i have sent in a ticket with just a run of the mill reply so far? still waiting on a follow up reply from wargaiming, also posted on the wot forum? thanks for any help brought my way!

    Authentication failed error message

    Hi!

    Try to clear
    cache    , unplug the console for 5 mins, restart the console and launch the game.

    I had the same problem when the last major WoT update came out. Found out it was my profile being corrupted. I ended up just recovering my profile and it was all fix. But either 1,3, or 4 should of fix it. Hmm....just to be safe go through all the data on
    your HD and see if you can find more corrupted data. I'm not sure if it will fix the problem but it's the only thing I could think of right now.

    Authentication Failed

    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

    - Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    - Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

    - Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

    If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

    - Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    - Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    - Select Reset console.

    - Choose Keep Games and Apps

    Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

    I was playing on a refurbished xbox one that was having authentication issues after the update. I went ahead and upgraded to a refurbished xbox x and am back to playing. It's the only thing I could think of and I was due for an upgrade anyway.
