    Audio/Video Receivers

I am wandering what is the process for connecting a Kilspch 5.1 surround sound speaker to the Xbox One. The current set-up right now is connected directly to the TV audio output to the Kilspch AUX input to get the surround sound. Also, I am curious if the
Kinect for Xbox One will support the full control of this Audio/Video Receiver.

    :)

We have our audio set to "HDMI Audio 7.1 Uncompressed", our system is 7.1 and sounds great just worried about the lag caused by going through a receiver like the Panasonic manual recommended against because some receivers can add a few frames of lag. We
also have Optical Audio OFF and the Bitstream Format is set grayed out.

The 24Hz is under Video settings not Audio settings and kinda surprised that would create lag in a multiplayer game, it shouldn't affect a game at all or at least that's what I would have thought.

    XBox One w/ Receiver Setup

    My set up will be:

Cable Box HDMI out to Xbox One HDMI IN, Xbox One HDMI out to Receiver HDMI In, Receiver HDMI out to TV HDMI in, Receiver Audio out to Speakers

So the Cable audio/video goes to the Xbox One, Xbox One send that and/or it's audio/video to the Receiver, Receiver sends video to TV and audio to Speakers

It seems like that's what you're describing, so I'm not sure why you think audio is being left out anywhere.

HDMI Splitter with cable box and surround sound receiver

    From Support:

Basic setup with an audio/video receiver

With an audio/video (A/V) receiver, the best and most direct option is to connect the devices sequentially:

1.Connect your set-top box HDMI output to the Xbox One HDMI input.

2.Connect the Xbox One HDMI output to your A/V HDMI input.

3.Connect your A/V HDMI output to the HDMI input on your television.

    Notes

•This option requires that all devices support audio over HDMI.

•Surround sound from your set-top box will not be passed through the Xbox One.

•When you perform this kind of basic setup with an A/V receiver, you’re passing both audio and video through another device. Depending on your equipment, there is a small risk of audio or video lag.

Cable TV stops working after a few seconds when passing though xbox and then A/V receiver.

    Notice the last two bullets:

    XBox One w/ Receiver Setup

It should work. You can change what each source receives. Just set your receiver so that when you select xbox one (whatever inlut you choose) it actually reads just the optical audio. Then when you snap to ps3, youll have to also select the ps3 on the receiver.
the xbox will still broadcast video to projector and the receiver will do audio. What I want to test is if the hdmi in is 2 way. If it is you just select the OUTPUT on the receiver (usually called tv) and that would do audio out and in and video just goes
to projectory. Then you select tv for xbox one
