    hellow , I have a question

    I have bought a new controll for my console and when I plug any headphones I can’t talk, I can listen the game and the Xbox party but they don’t hear my voice, I am not muted and my control is new. I also tried to buy an adapter buy I have the same results,
    what can i do?

    Xbox One Headset, Can hear Others But Mic Won't talk back

    Just got the same issue today, i have tried 2 controllers and 2 headsets, all combos play audio but dont send audio to my friends, the ring in party chart doesnt move when i talk

    Recording Game/Party Chat

    If you use Kinect to talk you can use your capture devices to record chat audio. It's not ideal but it works.

    I know what your talking about, but that option is comparing chat audio to game audio, not headset to tv. To clarify, the chat audio is fine and never lags; its the game audio

    If you are just talking about Xbox 360 audio then, yes HDMI and Toshlink audio is the same. However if you are talking bluray devices such as the PS3 then no they are not the same. Toshlink does not have the bandwidth to carry the new audio formats such
    as Dolby TrueHD or DTS MA. You would need a HDMI cable for that.

    Hi, try a different hdmi cable, see if that helps. As for the audio section you are talking about, the audio icon only shows if you have a headset connected to the controller.

    your bluetooth headset with mic is designed for audio and talking via bluetooth, the cable that you can plug into your headset and then to the controller only enables audio not mic. lots of bluetooth headsets and headphones are the same, the option to plug in a cable is for audio only.
