    Hi ToxicSalinity,

    Hopefully this help

    Press the Xbox Button

    Go to the System tab (gear icon) >> Settings >> Audio.

    1. Headset volume

    This controls the overall volume through the headset.

    2. Mic monitoring

    This controls the mic monitor volume.

    I can't find the audio settings. Sorry, new to Xbox One mostly, so still learning everything.

    If you go into your Xbox settings and then to the audio settings, you should see an option for audio output. Click on that and select headphones only. Hope that helps.
