    One thing I was able to do is MUTE my cable box itself. It is possible if you have a Comcast/Motorola box to disable the volume lock. Directions: Solved: Control audio on cable box instead of TV - Xfinity Help and Support Forums - 1115959
    This will disable your cable box from sending an audio signal while you play your game or watch a movie. The only downside is you will have to use a remote instead of relying solely on kinect commands to mute your cable box but its worth it until there is
    a solution to the dual audio issue.

    I would suggest modifying audio settings in Xbox and TV as well. This looks like multi-channel audio is not supported in the TV.

    I tried all those suggestions, still no audio. I'm also seeing a pattern on these forums of lack of audio with the RNG110 box, which makes me wonder if that's the problem.
