    Audio setting greyed out/audio issues


    So recently my headset has stopped playing menu and game sound and I only have party sound when talking to my friends. I have tried two different headsets with two different controllers and nothing has worked. I have my setting on headset output and I would like to think I have tried lots of things, still unresolved. Any suggestions?

    hdmi output greyed out

    I went to settings then volume and audio output and the using hdmi or optical audio headset is unchecked and still greyed out

    Our volume & audio output section has 3 headings;

    volume options

    speaker audio (which is greyed out)

    headset audio

    doesnt appear to have a audio tv only option?

    Any other ideas?!

    hdmi output greyed out

    its not the setup its the fact that on the xbox the HDMI audio output is greyed out and wont let me change it.

    the speaker audio wont let me change it.

    I had the same issue one time. It fixes itself over time.
