Audio problem watching 4k blu-rays

I’m having an audio skipping issue while watching 4k blu-rays. Once every 15 to 20 minutes there’s a brief drop or skip sound in the audio. I’ve cleared the download cache, uninstalled and installed the blu-ray app a few different times. Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions on what else try would be appreciated.

I'm sorry there's no way to diagnose that is an issue without actually being there

20 minutes is too short for a layer change and they've been seamless since original Blu-ray, but that would usually be my culprit

I have the same question. I use my Xbox One to watch Blu-rays, but I want the best audio experience on my VIZIO S4251w-B4 5.1 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Satellite Speakers. Which optical audio settings are Xbox One audio settings are best to
watch a Blu ray like Inception?

Since my TV does not support HDR, I cannot activate it and it is disabled by default.

As I really like Interstellar, it was offered to me in 4k without knowing that I do not have a 4k TV.

What I mean is Xbox series X has a very dark image with HDR blu-ray. But when I watch HDR blu-ray on my PS5 I have no problem.

I think Xbox series x is not converting HDR to SDR correctly but that the ps5 yes.

On the other hand, blu-ray 4k comes out very well on a 1080p TV.

I saw it has HDMI 2.0B thingy on this site.

If say you connect an Xbox One X to your 4K HDTV, you should still be able to:

1. Download the YouTube and Netflix apps, onto your Xbox One X, and still be able to watch in 4k 60fps?

2. Use Xbox One X 4k Blu-ray player to watch 4k Blu-ray disc movies in 4k 60fps?

3. Play games on Xbox One X, in 4k 60fps?

.... right?
