Discus and support Audio Output to Controllers When Playing Split-Screen in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When playing split-screen, will the Xbox (or can the Xbox) output individual stereo audio to the corresponding controller during split-screen play? ie:...     Audio Output to Controllers When Playing Split-Screen


    When playing split-screen, will the Xbox (or can the Xbox) output individual stereo audio to the corresponding controller during split-screen play? ie: Player 1's stereo sound goes to controller 1 and player 2's stereo sound goes to controller 2.

    Or is there only one "master" stereo/surround audio track that gets pumped into both controllers?

    What you are experiencing is not game specific. Split screen audio for split screen games is not an available feature on the Xbox One. What this means is that all headsets playing a split screen game will receive combined audio.

    An HDMI cable is required in this case. You'll need to use an HDMI cable to output the console audio/video to enable 2 player split-screen.

    EDIT: So I'm not sure why it's not working. It only says an HDTV is needed.

    Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the audio feeds are separate. So if we have to controllers on split screen each with a stereo headset plugged in then they get their own audio. It's pretty cool actually.
