Audio out of sync with camera image when streaming through Twitch on Xbox One

Hello all,

So I did my first ‘proper’ stream from my Xbox last night and I’ve had it confirmed that the audio from my headset was out of sync with my camera image. Is there some way to fix this issue? My set up is below:

Streaming direct from Xbox One using twitch app

Camera is Logitech C922

Headset is Turtle Beach XO Three

I do not own a PC (shocker i know), so capture cards etc are not yet a possibility.

Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

Hey there REDHAWK,

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Twitch.

If it is a problem with the app itself, then I would suggest trying the steps here that we have on our support page entitled "My Xbox One game
won't start o r freezes during gameplay". I know Twitch is not a game, but that guide should work for any app as well.

If and when you get a chance give that a shot and let us know how that helped in resolving the issue.

Hi Paul,

I tried the factory reset on the console and this still did not solve the issue. I streamed for a while to mixer and everything was absolutely fine so I can only conclude that this is an issue with the twitch app on Xbox.

Since I do most of my main gaming on Xbox One and I am very much wanting to stream on twitch regularly, I believe until this issue can be solved within the app, my best course of action is probably to get a hold of a capture card and run my stream through
that.

If you have any further suggestions, I would of course be more than happy to try them.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your response. I power cycled my console and also checked twitch for any delay settings and could not find any. When I streamed a Xbox 360 backwards compatible game, the audio sync issue seemed to subside, however when i switched game to a
Xbox One game my camera seemed to lag behind my voice again. I did change my broadcast settings down from 1080p to 780p and also manually switched my bitrate to around 3000kbps.

There are several other things I intend to try, such as playing around with the bitrate a bit more etc.

I also may stream from another console and see if it is an issue with the Xbox itself.

However, if you have any further suggestions it would be most appreciated.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue while streaming on the Twitch App on your Xbox One console. Can you try performing a

power cycle on the console to see if this fixes the issue. As well I recommend checking the Twitch App settings to see if there is a delay option that is enabled. Please let us know how it goes.
